Instructions for Changing Cylinders on a TNT Sport Lift
(Please read all instructions thoroughly before proceeding)

With the boat out of the water

1. Remove the plastic caps on the new cylinder and pull the piston to the full out position. (You can use an air hose to extend the cylinder.)
2. With the boat in the slings lower the lift to the lowest position.
3. Support the swim platform.
4. Remove the Allen set screws at the top end of the cylinder.
5. Remove the 3/8” bolts that hold the cover plates for the lower pin of the cylinder.
6. Remove the hose from one end of the old cylinder and put on the same end of the new cylinder.
7. Do the same for the other hose.
8. Remove the pins that hold the cylinders. (Watch the spacers on the upper pin)
9. Install the new cylinder in reverse order. (Steps 8 to 4)
10. Do the same for the other side of the lift.
11. Have the upper hoses of the cylinders loose as you power the lift to the up position. (This will bleed the air out of the system.)
12. When the lift is in the up position tighten the upper hoses.
13. Run the lift up and down a few times and check for oil leaks.
14. Also check the oil in the reservoir with the lift in the up position.

With the boat in the water

1. Remove the plastic caps on the new cylinder and pull the piston to the full out position. (You can use an air hose to extend the cylinder.)
2. Lower the lift to about 3 inches from the bottom.
3. Support the swim platform by using lines or ratchet straps.
4. Follow the above instructions. But do not do step 11. You will have to run the lift up and down a few times to remove the air in the system.
