What oil do I use in my system?

Recommended Hydraulic Oil: Mobil DTE24 premium quality, light-grade anti-wear hydraulic oil for use in commercial and industrial hydraulic systems, or equivalent. (ISO VG 32.SAE 10)

How much oil should I put in the reservoir?

Level of oil in the reservoir should be filled to within ½” -¾” of the filler/breather opening.

Note: Low hydraulic fluid level can cause air to enter the system resulting in erratic operation and sponginess of the lift. Should air enter the system, fill the reservoir to its proper level with the lift in the full up position and then operate the platform up and down several times. The system will automatically bleed itself.

What should my hydraulic pressure be set at?

Pressure is factory set at 1500 p.s.i. In order to check for correct setting, system must be running and platform must be extended or retracted to its furthermost position (i.e. bottomed out). If gauge pressure is not reading set pressure, please contact TNT Lift Systems for adjustment procedures.

How do I wire my hydraulic pump?

A wiring diagram is available in our document center.

How do I change the oil in my hydraulic system?

Changing the oil in your lift is easy. All you need to do is remove one of the hydraulic hoses and run the lift up and down a few times to drain the system then fill with fresh oil. Remember to use MOBIL DTE_24 oil only (available through TNT or W.W. Grainger). Complete step by step details can be found in our document center.
